There are so many people, especially moms, who are choosing to stay home with the kids but would still like to do something for themselves. A WAHM is a Work At Home Mom. She is someone who understands the importance of being there for the kids and helping shape their future. BUT she is also someone who wants something for herself.

Being home all day with kids is the hardest job anyone will ever have, but it's still important for many of us to have that work that is for us. The work we want to do and that makes a little extra money.

Dads have also seen this as a great path and are becoming a vital part in the home business work force. We don't have the cool acronym but I guess WAHD will have to do.

This forum is dedicated to all those brave souls that choose to do both - stay at home with the kids and continue to pursue a career.

The idea here is to help and be helped.

My parents worked from home and it was always nice to have them there when you needed them. My wife and I doing the same. Kids are are future. Being there to help shape them and support them as they grow up is so important.
